We’re Focused on What Matters Most Right Now in Pelham

At the Junior League of Pelham we live in the moment. To us, that means adjusting our focus according to our community’s most pressing needs. Our work is always evolving, and that keeps us on our toes, striving for progress, and preparing to take on whatever comes next.

Our current community goal of improve the lives of families can be achieved by working in our communities to end hunger, create a more sustainable Pelham, and to refresh Woodland Park. So far we have partnered with local organizations to achieve this, and we continue to promote the enrichment of Pelham and neighboring communities.

Our goal is to help Pelham women develop civic leadership skills through the work they do, then put those talents to work in the communities that need it. Our current focus of improving our community gives women opportunities to grow, while positively impacting the communities where they live and work.

Fostering Important Conversations in Our Community

No matter what we’re currently focusing on, the Junior League of Pelham’s work centers around improving our local communities through effective action and leadership. We host an annual Community Roundtable to bring together community members to discuss important topics. Recent discussions have included pedestrian safety, sustainability, and disaster relief.
